Ebury Court is
like no other care home...
We place great emphasis on the importance of our residents’ independence, dignity and privacy, whilst continually providing care and support of the highest quality in a warm and homely environment.
We have held the Gold Standard Framework in Care Homes Quality Hallmark Award at the highest level, Beacon Award since 2011. To put this into context, out of over 21,000 care homes in the UK, at present there are only 88 other care homes that have achieved the Beacon status. Please visit our Awards page for more details.”
We are also proud of our Care Quality Commission report which have always been consistently of the highest standard. At our last unannounced inspection, we were found to have absolutely no requirements. A testimony to our team and their attention to detail at all times.
Ebury Court are proud to hold the Gold Standard Framework in Care Homes Quality Hallmark Award for End of Life Care. This national award was first achieved at the highest level, Beacon in 2011. We were reaccredited again at Beacon level in 2014 and in 2017, we attained Platinum achieving 20 out of the 20 standards at the highest level of ‘excellent‘. Visit the Gold Standard Framework website for more details.
The Gold Standard Framework training focussed on all aspects of providing palliative care and involved the entire staff at Ebury Court. It included how to work collaboratively with our GP and nursing services, symptom control, anticipatory prescribing, care in the final days, dignity, dementia, spirituality and how to support both the relatives and the resident.
Our staff are very knowledgeable, experienced and highly committed to providing a ‘gold standard of end of life care’.

We value our staff highly and place great importance on staff training, support and supervision. We achieved the Investors in People award in 1999 and were one of the first care homes to have received this and continue to meet the criteria to hold this award. Investors in People is a national award given to organisations which meet the Standards required for training and developing their staff. It is an assessed process and it is re-assessed every three.

The Ultimate Retreat
Facilities at Ebury Court

Our high quality facilities have been arranged to increase our ability to care for our residents, enhance their experience of receiving care, and greatly improve their quality of life.
Our Rooms
All of our rooms are well appointed, extremely spacious and en-suite. They are all different in terms of layout and have been individually furnished and decorated to a high standard. We like each room to have its own character and feel.
Each room is equipped with a flat screen television and telephone points.
Relaxation areas
Residents can choose to use any of our four different lounges – two with televisions or the garden lounge that provides a place for quiet relaxation.
There is also a beautifully furnished, spacious, air-conditioned conservatory that is a very tranquil and peaceful place to be. The conservatory is very popular with our residents and their visiting families as a place to catch up over tea or coffee and enjoy our garden views.
Hydrotherapy bath
Fund raising efforts over the past few years have enabled us to raise the £10,000 required to install a hydrotherapy bath. Consultation with Stirling University took place regarding the interior design and decoration of the bathroom which is now sensitive to the needs of those with dementia. This bathroom is now a welcoming room and taking a bath, is now a relaxing and enjoyable experience.
Our Gardens
We have lovely secluded mature gardens with a stylish summerhouse and a large seating area that enables our residents to enjoy meals outdoors during the summer.
Wet Room
Our luxury wet room utilises state of the art materials to promote a relaxing and enjoyable experience.
Other facilities
We have recently installed a new computer system at Ebury Court which includes Skype for our residents’ use.

Client’s words
“Thank you very much for everything you have all done for my Mum during her time at Ebury Court. I am very confident in conveying on her behalf how much she enjoyed being with you all, joining in all aspects of Ebury Court life – singing, eating, drinking, companionship, the calm environment and of course, the fun she had with you all. I couldn’t have wished for a better time for Mum to have experienced in her final years. With all our love and very best wishes to you all.”
“A big thank you for everything you have done over the years to look after my Nan. We have had lots of laughs together and have enjoyed a sing along to the music together. All the carers have been brilliant and we will miss all the happy faces at Ebury Court. Thanks again for all that you did for my Nan”
