What People Say About Us
Our Testimonials
Dear Beverley, Richard and the whole Ebury team.
I would just like to say a very well done to everybody in setting up the outside visits. As you know, it has been a long while since we were able to see our loved ones and it has proved stressful and challenging times for all.
The control measures you have put in place are excellent and the location of the visits under the lovely Gazebo surrounded by the garden is very relaxing. This whole process is handled by your team brilliantly and, they are extremely welcoming.
I would also like to mention that on my recent visits it was beautiful to see staff and residents waving at me from within Ebury when I was in the garden and on leaving. I found this quite emotional and so lovely that the love and friendship is so strong and supportive as we fight this invisible enemy together.
Thank you all very much
Best Wishes
I just wanted to say a big thank you to all of your wonderful staff for doing what is clearly such a brilliant job in caring for Mum. I also wanted to add a special mention for Ajeesh, who has helped me make calls to Mum, including many video calls, often using his own phone. We’re so grateful for being able to connect with her in this way, especially as it will be some time before we’re able to travel to the UK again. It is so very much appreciated.
Kind regards and best wishes
Dear Beverley and Richard
As you are both aware I have just been to see mum (Ruby) and used your two-way intercom system for the first time. I have to say congratulations. The sound was excellent and I was able to have a good clear and visible conversation. In these difficult times having a way to visually communicate with loved ones is so important and you have succeeded. Thank you.
Best Wishes
Dear Beverley On behalf of Tony and myself, can I thank you and all the wonderful staff at Ebury Court for the outstanding level of care that you provide for our Mum, for a quality of care that goes so far beyond looking after her physical and personal needs. Since moving into Ebury in March, she has been happier than she was for several of the last years in her own home (even though the prospect of leaving her home was a source of some disquiet for her). Can we also thank you for the evident quality of your infection control practices in such challenging times. We are so grateful that Mum is more protected with you than if she were still receiving carer and Council worker visits several times a day as it was before March. With best wishes and kind regards
Dear Beverley and all the staff, thank you so much for looking after our father so well during his time at Ebury Court especially towards the end of life when you offered him all the comfort, care and dignity that everyone need at that time. You provided what every care home should have and you provided it in abundance. Thank you very much and best wishes to you all.
Dear Beverley, I am just writing to say a big thank you to yourself and all your staff for the care, patience and attention and above all the dignity which all of you showed towards my beloved Auntie. I would also like to say thank you to all staff for the kindness and consideration shown to myself and family members when visiting my Aunt. I am struggling for words so I will just say again, a very big THANK YOU TO ALL STAFF AT EBURY COURT.
Dear Beverley, Thank you to everyone at Ebury Court for taking such good care of our father during his time with you. It was never our wish that Dad should end up anywhere other than his own home but when his condition deteriorated shortly after our mum’s death we were faced with an agonizing decision. Everyone was so kind and considerate. He was given the very best care. We couldn’t have asked for anymore. A special thank you to ‘A’ for seeing to Dad’s daily shave, weekly baths and unscheduled hospital visits along with all the other staff who got to know and care for Dad.
Dear Beverley, I would like to thank each and every one of you at Ebury Court who looked after my mother during her months with you. You and your senior staff, the carers, the kitchen and housekeeping staff and the ‘Key Family’. Once mum had got over her initial difficulties and had recovered from both her operation and her subsequent time in hospital, she had a very good summer. She enjoyed her dance club and pub lunch outings plus the special trips to the theatre and Buckingham Palace. In particular, I remember how pleased she was when she came back from the Old Time Musical Hall and was so enthusiastic about what she had seen and heard.
Please accept our thanks – and pass on to all at Ebury Court – for the care which Mum is receiving. She is really happy with you although when asked what she’s done, she replies “nothing” – until she’s prompted and then tells us all about everything with obvious enjoyment at the memory.
Last Sunday when I collected her was quite different. She had hardly got into the car when she started to tell me all about her trip to Buckingham Palace and the rest of that day. It was all repeated several times during the afternoon – it had obviously made quite an impression! We are sure that organising and taking a group of residents on a trip like this can’t be easy – thank you all for doing it. Mum and I really do appreciate it.
